Paul Rudd is pretty proud of his career so far (Our Idiot Brother included) and works hard at it, but as his children get older, he says traveling for a role will become a bit more difficult.

Not that you'll ever catch the unfailingly self-deprecating Paul bragging, but yes, he's a little proud when he reflects on his career.
"I care a lot. I always have," Paul told USA Today about his career. "I'm trying to be less precious about it as I get older. But I would say the vast majority of things that I've done, I did for creative reasons.
"There's a gratification in knowing I tried to do things on my own terms as much as possible."

But that's becoming more difficult. Paul lives with his wife, Julie Yaeger, and their kids, Jack, 6, and Darby, 1, in New York.
Right now, Paul's family travels with him when he needs to be on location for a film.
"It's going to get harder and harder, because my son is approaching the age when he's in school," he explained. "I don't want to go from thing to thing to thing. I never wanted to anyway. I definitely want to stay home and spend time with my kids."
"If that means working less, then that's what that means," Paul added. "And I don't want to move. We'll see how this plays out."
We hope it plays out well!
