Paula Abdul Says She Parted Ways "Amicably" With 'The X Factor': "I Know It's Boring"

Despite the abrupt firing from The X Factor, Paula Abdul has something to say about it. Apparently, she knew the ax was coming her way!

NEWS: SIMON COWELL & PAULA ABDUL RELEASE STATEMENTS REGARDING X FACTOR CUTS It all stemmed from a report in the Daily News when a source claimed, "Paula went ballistic when she found out she wasn't back." The source added that Paula "told Simon that she felt used." The insider also mentioned Paula wanted to "rant and rave on Twitter and online" after being fired but didn't because her entourage advised her to take the high road on the matter. That said, Paula released an official statement which indicated she and the producers were "communicating about this for a while now." OK! NEWS: THE X FACTOR MASSIVELY CLEANS HOUSE — LET'S GO OF PAULA ABDUL, STEVE JONES & NICOLE SCHERZINGER! According to GossipCop, the statement read, "I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful." She also Tweeted to further support the claim that she's not fuming over the recent firing. "Truth is, I parted ways amicably & remain friends w/ Fremantle, Fox & Simon." Paula added, "I know it's boring & under-whelming but hey, the truth usually is."
