Naomi Watts began shooting her new film, Caught in Flight, last week in London. The movie tells the story of Princess Diana's secret affair with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Kahn,leading up to her untimely death. And the first photos of Naomi on the set are out!

Naomi, who plays the people's princess in the flick due out next year, looks like the late Diana's doppelgänger, sporting the short, wavy hairdo the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry made famous around the world.
In the photo, Naomi is recreated Diana's arrival at the Royal Opera House, wearing a stunning sequin gown accessorized with black heels and a purse.

Caught in Flight will focus on the last two years of Princess Di's life, including her divorce from Prince Charles and her relationship with billionaire Dodi Fayed, who died with Diana in the tragic Paris accident on Aug. 31, 1997.
