(New Line)
Starring: Edward Norton, Colin Farrell, Jon Voight
This gritty drama centers on a family of cops. Ray (Norton) is in charge of finding out why four men were killed in the line of duty, and evidence leads him to his brother-in-law's (Farrell) corrupt unit. At first, the audience is kept guessing as to what side people are on. Depressing scenes involving the family are punctuated with action-packed, bloody ones. Word of caution: Be prepared to see some shockingly revolting torture reminiscent of the brutality in American History X, another Norton film.
