On a Saturday night in July, moviegoers at a theater in the tiny Welsh town of Llandudno Junction were shocked to realize that the duke and duchess of Cambridge, aka Prince William and his new bride, the Duchess of Cambridge, had just slipped in for a late showing of the Hollywood comedy Bridesmaids.

Date night is just one way the young royals are attempting to live their new life under the radar while William completes his military training in North Wales.
“Kate thinks it’s very important to create a warm home for the two of them,” royals commentator Victoria Arbiter confides to OK!. “She loves to cook, and she likes to have a meal waiting for William when he gets home from work.”

After the whirlwind surrounding their April 29 wedding and their exhilarating trip to North America, the couple announced that they would be taking some time to themselves.
“They’re actually surprisingly normal and down to earth when the cameras are off,” says a royals watcher. “Kate has been a great influence on William in that way. She’s introduced him to a simpler, easier way of life and he loves it. They like to watch movies, sleep in and have nice meals at home.”

As the future king and queen of England, Kate and William, both 29, have a duty to seriously consider starting a family, but royals insiders expect the pair to wait until after William completes his flying captaincy, probably early next year. “Everyone is breathing down their necks about having a baby, but they are just content to enjoy this time,” says an insider.
