'Project Runway' Alum Michael Costello Says Heidi Klum Split is "Really Sad"

Project Runway finalist Michael Costello worked closely with Heidi Klum while on the Lifetime series and offered kind words to the super model regarding her recent split from hubby Seal while speaking with OK! in NYC on Friday night.

“I think its really sad,” Michael gushed to OK! at Gary’s Loft, “You know they couldn’t make it work.”

Although Michael isn’t that close with his former fashion judge anymore, he did commend Heidi for being so amicable about the separation.

“I think its beautiful that they still have a friendly relationship going on, because that’s so tough to keep together, that friendship,” the designer explained while out at Sheknows.com's Sock Dress: SHEKNOWS Where the Other Sock Went event to benefit autism.

Michael added: “I wish them the best and I hope she finds another hot, sexy man and I’m sure he’s not going to have trouble finding a hot, sexy woman!”
