The war rages on between Paula Abdul and her American Idol co-judge Simon Cowell. During her appearance on The View today, Paula railed against Simon’s harsh judging style.
“Simon represents the ugliness and harsh reality of how hard it is to make it in the business,” she said, adding, “he would poop in his own pants if he had to face himself as a judge."
Paula and Randy Jackson raved about this season’s Idol, calling it one of the best seasons yet. The pair also said that the controversy around Idol contestant David Hernandez — who is a former stripper — hasn’t impacted their judging. “It’s a singing competition,” said Randy.
Paula also debunked rumors that she’ll be heading out on tour with American Idol in support of her new single, "Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow." “I don’t know how that rumor got started,” she said, adding that she is planning on touring soon on her own.
