'Real Housewives of NYC' Preview: Who Are the New Ladies?

Fans of Bravo's estrogen-charged Real Housewives franchise will likely find themselves parked on their couch tonight reuniting with the ladies from The Big Apple. The Real Housewives of New York City premieres at 9 p.m., with three new cast members after Andy Cohen gave Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop the boot.

Heather Thomson is the former head designer for Sean 'Diddy' Combs and entrepreneur most well known for her line of shapewear called Yummie by Heather Thomson. She's a mother of two, who got the idea for shaperwear after giving birth and being dissatisfied with what was already on the market. Yummie has expanded to denim and a ready-to-wear line that "hugs, lifts and smooths."
Carole Radziwill is a journalist and author who's worked for several news organizations including 20/20 and Primetime Live. She's reported from all over the world and has won three Emmys, a Robert F. Kennedy Humanitarian award and a GLAAD award. She's the author of What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love, a New York Times best-selling book about her late husband Anthony Radziwill's battle with cancer.

Aviva Drescher holds a Master's degree in French and Juris Doctorate from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, but decided to be a real-life New York City socialite and housewife instead of lawyer. Her husband, Reid Drescher, is an investment banker and the pair are parents to four children. Aviva is active in many charities and philanthropic organizations when she isn't busy maintaining her household.
