Today it was reported the voluptuous mother of three decided to say goodbye to the franchise because she didn't like the way castmates Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson, Gretchen Rossi and Heather Dubrow treated her on the show.
"Alexis was really tired of being bullied and chose home and family life over celebrity," a friend of the reality star told UsWeekly.
Indeed, Alexis had a rough season 7. During a trip to Costa Rica the other ladies staged an intervention during dinner, blasting Alexis for being "fake" and urging her to drop the materialistic talk in favor of something more authentic.
The conversation left Alexis in tears and made for an awkward reunion special where it was obvious the other women still held a grudge against the homemaker and aspiring newscaster.

Meanwhile, arch enemy Tamra implied on Twitter that Alexis was fired from the show.
"Let's just say the story I read and what I was told does not match," she Tweeted. "Not the same story I was told …let's keep it at that. who leaves a successful show?"
Bravo, of course, has no comment and insists they have yet to make casting decision for season 8 of RHOC.
