Red Carpet Confidential: Miranda Kerr Embraces Her Feminine Side With Hubby Orlando Bloom

Fresh from her Oscar outing with hubby Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr puts rumors of discord to rest during the Victoria’s Secret Fabulous Collection launch held Tuesday in NYC.
“Our last fabulous date night was probably the Oscars night,” the Aussie supermodel, 29, tells me. “We had a fabulous time. We were dancing, and he was being such a gentleman. We had a really fabulous time. I was wearing Valentino couture, and he looked very dapper in his Yves St. Laurent suit.”
Spending time alone together is key for the parents of son Flynn, 2, who wed in 2010.
“It’s important to make time for each other, and take time for your partner,” she says. “Even when the baby goes to bed, just have a conversation about how each other’s day was, and really listen as a woman, and get more into your feminine side. Embrace the feminine side of yourself.”

Hm, how does she do that aside from wearing the new Victoria’s Secret Fabulous line of bras, bikinis and fragrances?
“When I’m at work, I’m quite domineering,” she explains. “It’s important to be assertive and make decisions. But when I’m at home and I walk through the door, I try to leave that all behind and become more in touch with my feminine, soft side, so that he can feel like the strong man. It gives him the opportunity to be the strong man, and I can be more soft and feminine. It’s an energy balance.”

One way she does that is by mothering her son.
“He’s fun! He’s very charming. He’s really developing his own individual personality.”
Would she like to have more kids?
“One day. I love being a mom. It’s my favorite thing.”
