Dancing With The Stars is reportedly courting Oscar winners for its next season, and Renee Zellweger tops their list as the big “get.”

“I bet she’d be amazing,” two-time winner Mark Ballas, 27, tells me while promoting Blueprint To Quit. “I love Bridget Jones! That would be a fun theme.”

Why?

“She seems very personable and has great charisma, very funny,” he says. “These are all keys of an awesome working relationship. She's beautiful and I'm also a fan of her acting. She'd be great on the show.”

Aside from Oscar winners, he pines for a certain British singer who performed at the royal wedding.

Ellie Goulding would make an amazing partner,” he says.

Now that Mark quit smoking in June, we’ll be watching for more mirror ball trophies in his future.

“I’m officially six-months smoke-free,” he says. “I officially quit.”

How did he do it?

“I used the Blueprint to Quit program,” he says. “It’s a program that combines behavioral support and, in my case, NicoDerm CQ. You can use the gum or the lozenge too, depending on how you want to approach your quit.”

It wasn’t easy. He began smoking at 16 when he was living in England, and smoked for eleven years.

“I would feel it when I danced, but it never got to a point where I was gasping for oxygen,” Mark says. “Now I feel a difference in my stamina, energy and cardio. I feel healthier—and better overall.”
