TV host Regis Philbin was all smiles as he walked down the street in NYC on Jan. 19 with cameras surrounding him. Regis has just made the announcement that he will be retiring from his talk show Live! With Regis and Kelly later this year and the media just can't get enough of him!

Regis was questioned by a reporter all the way from the studios to his destination. One thing he did make clear is that he is not retiring from the business, just the show, when he had a phone conversation on the Late Show With David Letterman.
