Looks like things are (somewhat) back normal for Charlie Sheen. He is already cracking jokes about his domestic abuse spat with wife Brooke Mueller on the set of his sitcom, and since twin sons Max and Bob are still in Aspen with mom, Charlie decided to spend some time with his  daughters — from  his union with ex wife Denise Richards Sam, 4, and Lola, 2,  on New Year's Eve, E! News reports. A source tells E! News, "He came to their house and everyone had dinner together."

Sheen held strong in front of his daughters; however, the source told E! that he is "s--ting his pants" right now.

"He's scared," the source said. "He just wants it to go away."

Charlie may be spending a lot of time with his girls since his 10-month-old twins may be in Aspen for a while.

It is surprising that Denise let her ex see the girls after her Twitter rant last week.

“for all the negative nellies out there, I DID not have a f..ing photo op with my kids at a park when there is drama u get followed more,” Denise Tweeted.

“I genuinely love to be with my girls and don’t have a nanny raising them,” she added. “They are my #1 priority and always will be.”

Later Denise apologized for Tweeting while upset.

“sorry had to vent s*** pisses me off sometimes..one day..I will spill my guts about EVERYTHING,” she said.
