Were Courteney Cox's feelings for her Cougar Town co-star the reason for her split from David Arquette?

A source tells Radar Online that the actress was "in love" with Brian Van Holt but kept it a closely-guarded secret.

While David says his wife of 11 years had an "emotional affair" with Brian, sources allege that Courteney fell for the younger man.

"Courteney doesn't believe she was cheating on David because they had been leading separate lives for some time," the business pal tells Radar Online.

"But she is smitten and in love with this man, almost besotted... he seems to be providing something that David didn't during the marriage.
