After months of rumor and speculation, Robert Pattinson has officially confirmed that he and his Twilight Saga co-star Kristen Stewart are an item.

Rob and Kristen's repeated denials that they were a couple, despite all appearances to the contrary, kept the Twi-hards hoping that their hero might still be available.

But on Sunday night's Bafta awards ceremony in London, Rob broke his silence on the relationship, telling the UK's The Sun newspaper, "It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes."

Robert made the admission at a dinner following the ceremony, after he and Kristen arrived separately, going to ridiculous lengths not to be seen together by their fans.

But Robert can't relax for long, he's in the middle of filming his new movie Bel Ami with Uma Thurman. He said: "A load of us came straight here. It feels like a work night out.

"The film is going well. I play a French journalist in 19th Century Paris. The problem is I have to leave for work again at 6.30am."
