Romance is on the schedule for Twilight duo Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, who are putting their relationship in the international spotlight with their upcoming getaway to Madrid, Spain in May.
"They both really love it there," an insider tells OK! of the stars, who have recently been bogged down with hectic work schedules. "They love the energy, and have always had such a good time in Madrid."

While the trip will be a chance for the in-demand A-listers to reconnect, they will also be there to support each other's non-Twilight projects. "The trip won't be all the pleasure," the insider says, as they will be in Europe for the Cannes Film Festival, where their individual indie flicks are being screened. Also, Kristen, 22, will promote Snow White and the Huntsman.

"But Kristen promised Rob she'll make time for a romantic getaway after he convinced her to add a couple of days onto the trip for some quality time together."
With Rob's 26th birthday on May 13, the couple have a reason to celebrate.
"They're definitely looking forward to havig some serious fun," says the insider.
