Robert Pattinson Set to Star in Military Thriller 'Mission: Blacklist'

Robert Pattinson is getting ready to stretch his wings and leave behind his life as Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga. According to Deadline, the actor is attached to star in a new psychological war thriller based on the true story of the capture and interrogation of Sadam Hussein, which was spearheaded by military man Eric Maddox. It will be directied by Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire.
"This movie is a gripping, edge-of-you-seat thriller,” says producer Ross M. Dinerstein. “I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stéphane’s dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible.”
The screenplay for the film was adpated by Band of Brothers writer and producer Erik Jendresen from the novel Mission: Blacklist #1 which was written by interrogator Eric himself and Davin Seay.

Jean-Stéphane's last film, Johnny Mad Dog, won the Prize of Hope at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
