Being rushed to the hospital right before the New Year for severe chest pain, talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh received a clean bill of health from the Honolulu, HI hospital he had been taken to last Wednesday.
In a press conference on Friday, the 58-year-old reassured fans that the chest ache he had suffered from was a false alarm and that there was, “absolutely nothing wrong,” according to E! Online.
Rush took the time to explain what had happened to him in Hawaii even though he still does not know what caused his ailment.
“On Wednesday afternoon, I experienced pain in my upper left chest like I had never experienced before,” Rush told reporters at a press conference, “The pain was real, and they don't know what caused it.”
And although doctors at Queens Hospital couldn’t find the source of the conservative radio host’s sudden pains after conducting, “extensive tests,” Rush was given a very clean bill of health, E! Online reports.

“It was a blessing,” Rush recants of the good news doctors gave him after an angiogram, testing the arteries in the heart, came back normal.
Lucky for Rush, all is well after such an unexpected scare and he plans to be back on the radio next week, E! Online reports.
