Russell Brand Squashes Divorce Rumors: "I Am Happily Married"

Think Russell Brand and Katy Perry are on the rocks? Think again, so says Russell himself. During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to air today, he squashes rumors that he and Katy are headed to splitsville.

Ellen opened the door by stating, "There is a rumor that you and Katy split up." "What?" Russell questioned. "She should've told me. Yeah, there are always rumors, aren't there." He added, "In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy." According to GossipCop, he mentioned, "I've treated the whole Internet now like it's a wicked little liar. I am really happily married." So, maybe fame has taken its toll in terms of the rumor mill? "Being famous is like a little bit of you is taken away and goes off and lives on its own and odes what it wants. I wish it would do more interesting things." Pressing even further, Ellen asked, "So, it's not true?" "Well, I don't know what he's doing -- the other me. But I'm married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I'm still alive."
