Ryan O'Neal's Son Redmond Arrested on Narcotics Charges

Redmond O'Neal is in trouble with the law once again in connection to narcotics. The troubled son of Ryan O'Neal and the late Farrah Fawcett was arrested in Santa Monica, Calif. on Tuesday after police allegedly found heroin in his car.

According to Radar Online, Redmond was pulled over by police after he ran a red light. Police saw Redmond run a red light, and pulled him over. Upon inspection of his automobile, officers found heroin in the vehicle.

He was being held with no bail, police said.

"At approximately 8:45 a.m. a motor officer observed an argument at a store on Lincoln corner of Michigan," a police spokesperson said. "O'Neal was one of those involved in the argument. The officer then watched as he got into his vehicle. He proceeded to go north bound on Lincoln before turning west bound on Olympic, it was at this time the officer observed him going through the red turn arrow."

"A search of his vehicle was done and narcotics were recovered."

Redmond, 26, is now in the process of being booked and is being held without bail.

Less than a year ago, Redmond completed a court-ordered treatment program for past drug-related offenses.

He is still on probation for an incident involving narcotics from 2009.
