What happens when your movie gets panned? If you're Samuel L. Jackson, you lash out on Twitter!
OK! NEWS: SCARLETT JOHANSSON TALKS ABOUT GETTING DRUNK WITH HER "BIG, HUNKY" AVENGERS CO-STARS!
A.O. Scott, film critic at The New York Times, wrote a negative review about The Avengers. Well, Samuel wasn't too happy about the article which pointed out "the overblown, skull-assaulting action sequences" and his acting as "more master of ceremonies than mission commander."
This prompted the actor to Tweet, “#Avengers fans,NY Times critic AO Scott needs a new job! Let’s help him find one! One he can ACTUALLY do!”
Sounds like some followers on Twitter thought he may have been a bit "irrational" but the actor indicated he was merely sharing his thoughts. He Tweeted, "What's irrational about it? They aren't going to fire his jaundiced ass & You and I Know It!"

Taking the high road, the critic told E! News he didn't take the angry messages as a personal attack. "I can't say I blame them," he said. Plus, A.O. pointed out that "rallying 'fans' against skeptical critics is a time-honored tactic, and I don’t take it personally.”
