As OK! previously reported, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend after weeks of speculation, according to Reuters.
Tina Fey's impression of Alaska's governor has been sending ratings through the roof for the show recently, and Sarah says she's ready to face the cameras herself.
"I just want to be there to show Americans that we will rise above the political shots that we take because we're in this serious business for serious challenges that are facing the good American people right now," Sarah told Neal Boortz on his syndicated radio show today.

Whether or not Tina will be joining the real Sarah onstage is still up in the air. However the 30 Rock star has recently said she's not going to stick around to play the hockey mom after the election if John McCain's bid for the presidency is a success.
"If she wins, I'm done. I can't do that for four years. And by 'I'm done,' I mean I'm leaving Earth," Tina vowed.
