During the 2008 presidential election, Katie Couric made headlines when she stumped vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin during a nationally televised interview about what she reads.
Well, now it looks like the two of them will take on morning television this week! After news broke that Katie will fill in for Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, NBC made an announcement of their own: Tomorrow morning Sarah will co-host Today.
Sarah told Breitbart News, "I see this as an opportunity to bring an independent, commonsense conservative perspective to NBC. We're 'going rogue' and infiltrating some turf for a day."
As for her thoughts on going head-to-head tomorrow morning in the ratings war with Katie, Sarah responded with two simple words: "Game on."
