Sean Lowe Dishes on Wedding Plans at 'DWTS' Premiere

Dancing with the Stars got off to a hot start last night and no audience member looked prouder than Catherine Giudici, the lucy lady who won Sean Lowe's heart in the season finale of The Bachelor last week. While her man may have struggled a bit in his first round of the toe-tapping competition, he's eager to prove he has wait it takes to take home that trophy at the end of the season.

"I’m so glad to have the first one (dance) behind me," he admits. "Now I know what this is all about, the craziness that this brings. I think next week you’ll see some improvement."

So why did the charming Texan decide to jump right into another reality series just as his last one ended?

"Dancing is a challenge and I’m one who loves to embrace challenges and new things that are outside of my comfort zone," says Sean. "This certainly fits that mold. Most importantly Catherine was behind me. She was the first person I called after they approached me and she said I’m going to support you and I think it’s going to be a fun opportunity for both of us, so I couldn’t help but take it. This is too good to pass up."

But if you're looking for more shirtless Sean like we saw week after week on The Bachelor, you may be waiting a while, thanks to his pro dance partner Peta Mergatroyd.

"They think that’s all he’s got to offer and that’s what I don’t like to hear," says Peta. "I want them to see him dance and to not do that for a while."

" America probably thinks my shirt is coming off immediately," joked Sean. "They’re probably surprised it didn’t  come off tonight."

Now that Sean has a bit of dancing experience under his belt, it's time to get his tootsies ready for the biggest dance of his life—the wedding dance.

"I think we’re gonna go with a waltz and Peta has graciously offered to help us learn it," he said.

As fa as other wedding details, Sean says he and Catherine have a general framework of what they want, but the details are still shaping up.

"It’s coming along. We’ve mapped out some broad details but we have a long ways to go," he admits.
