The CW’s The Vampire Dairies may have a serious tone onscreen, but the cast of the supernatural drama is anything but serious when the cameras aren’t rolling.
In a new blooper reel for season three, the stars of the hit show reveal a more playful side.
Highlights include Ian Somerhalder eating Nina Dobrev's red undies, Ian demonstrating how he can't catch, and Nina showing off her awkward dance moves.

Season four kicks off Oct. 11, and Nina's character, Elena, will have much more to deal with than struggling to becoming a vampire, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The Salvatore brothers, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian), will be there to help with the transition, but they have dissimilar ways of seeing things, which will cause a strain on Elena's relationship with them.

“They’re two very different kinds of vampires and they’re going to have two very different points of view about what kind of vampire Elena should be,” executive producer Julie Plec said. “It’s going to make them fight a little.”
