Selena Gomez has a big announcement... she's performing on New Year's Eve!

The singer, 19 will be the first performer on MTV in 2012. She wrote the official news on her Facebook page saying: "Hey Everyone-- Not sure if you know but, I will be the first performance for MTV in 2012 at the strike of midnight I will be performing at MTV's NYE Party. Wanna join me in New York for the countdown?"

Selena won't be celebrating NYE alone, however. Boyfriend Justin Bieber, 17 has already confirmed that he will be a performer on [expletive] Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve with Ryan Seacrest.
