Selena Gomez Talks 'Spring Breakers' And New Perfume: "I Definitely Like To Wing Things”

The teen queen is growing up! Selena Gomez opened up about her more mature projects to WWD, revealing new details about Spring Breakers and her new beauty endeavors.

We've all seen the hot photos of the Spring Breakers cast shooting in Florida, and the wardrobe isn't the only adult aspect of the film.

“It was a very different type of role for me. I play a religious girl named Faith. Her best friends aren’t the best influences, and they want to go to spring break but can’t afford it. So they rob a convenience store and get away with it and go on spring break."

She continued, "We end up getting busted by the cops and going to jail, and James Franco’s character, a rapper-drug dealer, bails us out.”

Selena's next project is her new fragrance, which is set to come out in mid-May at Macy's. “I knew I wanted a tall bottle," she revealed, "because I feel like it can kind of stand up with all the other fragrances."

In terms of more scents, Selena told WWD, “Each will represent me as I am at that time."

“It’s kind of me winging it. I definitely like to wing things.”
