And trust us, these gals are at the top of their game.

Beauty
Cuchinis (a camel toe preventer!), butt glue, vaseline: these are all known to be necessary products for a beauty pageant contestant. Some of the items we've never heard of and even the ones we have might not be used in the way you think! But Susanna explains their exact purposes: "The essentials are butt glue for sure, because you can't have your bathing suit riding up your butt as you’re walking on stage! Because that’s all you're going to be thinking about in your head, oh my god, I don't want to turn around because my bathing suit is riding up. Also the cuchini, which Lynne has obviously made famous is very true, because the judges are below you when they're judging you. So you definitely want to be politically correct when you're on stage. A lot of things go into getting the perfect look; tanning, you name it, we've probably come up with it or figured out a way to finagle it."
Looking good on stage also means a good diet, right? Lori-Ann reveals that a big trend for the women is that they eat baby food! " You have to learn how to not eat baby food. There's a lot of girls who step on stage that are starving themselves and they eat baby food, not what you're supposed to do. As a fitness expert you have to eat right, that’s so important. Not baby food."
But it was Lynne who really made our brains explode with this tip that, um, we kind of want to try? "This actually works. I know girls who have done this and I've done variations of this, but I don’t know how well-advised it is! Girls slather Preparation H on their thighs and wrap it in Saran wrap and they can actually lose up to an inch if you leave it on there for a few hours. I think the worst thing about it is probably the smell but honestly that trick works."
Fashion
While Preparation H might be easy to purchase at a drug store, those outfits you're putting your thighs in can cost a pretty penny! And like any major event in life, it's all about the dress. "The most expensive thing in pageantry is the dress, typically. I think that’s where you do spend the bulk of your money on your evening gown," Susanna says. "But some people have custom bathing suits which can run you $1,500 to $2000."

"My last suit was $1,500 at the fitness competition in April," Lori-Ann admits.
For that money, can they wear the same bathing suit they wear on stage to a day at the beach? "Probably not," Susanna laughed. "That would be a) a fashion faux pas because you never want to be seen in the same bathing suit twice, especially after you’ve competed in it. Also if you're spending $1,500 on a bathing suit you're not going to wear it in the sand!" Lori-Ann confirms, "If you won in that bathing suit already you should not be wearing that bathing suit again, or that gown either."
But they're so pretty! Can you ever wear an evening gown again? "Well if you do win, you can make appearances in them, that’s the the only time that’s not a fashion faux pas," Susanna says. "Typically if you’ve worn a dress once, either you donate it to charity or you hope that you can hand it down to someone else." Lynne understands that sharing is caring when it comes to those pretty gowns! "Sometimes we give them to our pageant sisters. Just because you’ve been seen in it doesn’t mean someone else can't be seen in it. So actually, Susanna and Lori-Ann and I share our clothes often because we make so many appearances and attend so many events and charity stuff. Plus, Susanna is a beautiful brunette and Lori-Ann and I have different figures so if Susanna wears something, it's beautiful on her but someone probably wouldn’t recognize it if I wore it because it’s a different look on me." We know who we're calling when we need a fancy dress.

Married Life
You didn't think that once these gals step off stage the crown comes off too, did you? Because that crown stays on all the time. Like, ALL the time. Even intimate, bedroom times. Sexy sash night is totally a thing that happens, and we doubt any of the husbands are complaining about it. Lynne breaks it down: "A big part of being proud of entering these pageants is the fact that we do have the accomplishment of marriage. It doesn’t matter if you have children or not, when you get married it’s a good opportunity to continue to exercise and have a good nutrition program and stay fit. Every bride is beautiful so every wife should be beautiful as well. I think it’s a banner of achievement for our husbands to be married to a beauty queen. There's this whole world of Mrs. beauty pageants that the general public might not even be aware of, we're an entire culture, and there's a huge world of Mrs. beauty pageants out there. So yeah, we have naked sash night!"
"I don’t have any kids but maybe this summer I'll put the crown on and try!" Lori-Ann chimes in.

Friend or Frenemy
While these gals are successful in the beauty pageant world, run their own businesses and have a strong friendship with each other, that might not always be the case. If it were, we doubt Bravo would have as interesting of a show on their hands! So what is the true secret to figuring out if a fellow beauty pageant gal is your friend or a total frenemy, on and off stage? It's all about the helpfulness. "Times when your earring is backwards and they tell you, or if you had a run in your nylons. You want someone who seems to be on your team and not just fake, your real friend takes the step above," Susanna explains. Lady to lady, always tell another woman when she's got her skirt tucked into her underwear.
And leave it to Lynne to share the most important moral of the beauty pageant world with us: "It takes a lot of guts to get up there and a lot of hard work. Nobody is a loser when you're up there. We're all trophies up there."
Game of Crowns premieres this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
