Sherri, who has been a panelist on The View for seven years, began to cry as she discussed leaving the high-profile program.

“Seven in the Bible is the number of God’s completion. And I’ve been here seven years and my time at The View is complete,” she said.

While news of her upcoming departure surprised fans, Sherri revealed her inner circle as well as the show's producers already knew she intended to leave after this season but didn't want to detract from Barbara Walters' retirement from the show.
