Sherwood Schwartz, 'Gilligan's Island' & 'The Brady Bunch' Creator, Dies at 94

Sherwood Schwartz, the creator of both Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch, has died at the age of 94.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sherwood passed away on Tuesday in L.A. after a long career as a television producer.

He is best known for creating Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch. And those memorable theme songs that you're already humming after reading the show titles were also written by Sherwood!

Sherwood was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2008 for his work in the industry. He is survived by his wife and four children.
