Simon Monjack, the husband of the late actress Brittany Murphy, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home last night, says the Los Angeles Police Department.
The L.A. Times reports that Simon died in his home, the cause of death still unknown late last night.

"We have detectives at the scene," said the LAPD's Sgt. Louie Lozano. "They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it."
A 911 call came through to the Los Angeles Fire Department at 9:24 p.m. PST last night, for an “unspecified medical aid request,” according to spokesman Brian Humphrey. Simon received medical services and was pronounced dead, according to a Los Angeles police sergeant, who declined to give his name to the L.A. Times.

Brittany passed away in late December, when her mother found her unresponsive in the shower. Her death was ruled as a result of pneumonia complicated by anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
