It wasn’t a surprise for viewers, but on the season three premiere of TLC’s Sister Wives last night, Kody Brown announced he’s expecting with his newest wife Robyn.
The Browns announced to the public they were expecting back in April, so Sister Wives episodes are a few months behind. The good news is, fans won’t miss a thing with this new season!
Kody and Robyn may have been excited to announce to their family last night on Sister Wives that they’re expecting their first child together — but not all family members were happy about the news.
Robyn decided to tell her sister wife Meri first about her pregnancy because she was worried how Meri would take the news due to her own struggles to conceive. Meri was happy for Robyn, but the hard part was not over for her.
Kody and Robyn gathered the entire family up for dinner (the three other sister wives and their 16 children) to share the good news. Sadly, some of the teenagers weren’t thrilled by the baby news, but many were still coping with the family’s big move.
After being investigated for their polygamist lifestyle in Utah, the Browns have now moved their family to Nevada. Kody and his four wives struggled to decide how to best help their children transition to their new home during the rest of the premiere episode.
What did you think of the first episode of season three? We’re still trying to figure out how this family pays for everything!
