Let's face it: Some celebrities, reality stars and athletes receive lucrative offers to wear a particular brand of clothing as a walking advertisement of sorts. Well, in a unique twist, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino received an unusual request. Abercrombie & Fitch is offering to pay him to actually stop wearing its clothing!

According to The Wall Street Journal, the company released a statement entitled "A Win-Win Situation." Although The Situation frequently wears A&F on Jersey Shore, the retailer has offered a "substantial payment" in order for him to wear another brand.
The statement read, “We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans."
