'Skyfall' Tops Box Office, Daniel Craig Thinks Rihanna Would Make a Good Bond Girl

The 23rd James Bond flick, Skyfall, has raked in a whopping $428.6 million worldwide since the picture's release last month.

CNN reports that not since 1965's Thunderball has a Bond movie made such a splash, and critics hail it as one of the most "ambitious" of the franchise, with "classical" and "elegant" action scenes.

Daniel Craig — James Bond since 2006's Casino Royale — recently sat down with Global Grind to talk about how he's come close to quitting show business, why a James Bond movie is "all for the audience" and how watching Pres. Obama win the reelection was "inspiring."

"Acting is, like a lot of jobs, has its ups and downs," he explained. "There's a lot of letdowns in acting. You audition all the time and don't get the job and I've certainly had periods of that in my career."

He's riding high now, and happened to be in the U.S during the elections and said being in NYC was "great."

"It was very inspiring watching the Democratic process work. It's complicated, trying to get your head around the electoral votes...but it was very inspiring," he said.

Lastly, the interviewer wondered who he thought would make a better Bond girl: Rihanna or Beyonce.
