Step It Up and Dance

In her new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, chameleon actress Cate Blanchett hits the bar. The dance bar, that is. She does a pretty convincing job, says Cody Green, who’s competing for toe-tapping bragging rights on the new competition series Step It Up & Dance.
“In the scene people are paired off to do ballet,” he reveals. “Cate gets singled out in the class.” Cody explains that even though there was a dance double on set, Cate’s beautiful neck and arms made her look like a real dancer. “She just has so much grace. I was pretty star struck.”
Cody, a 27-year-old dancer originally from Canada, has a pretty impressive resume himself. He’s currently starring on Broadway in the revival of Grease and plays a prominent role in the upcoming film Center Stage 2. So why do a reality show? “Because it’s Bravo and just getting exposure is really helpful in where you want to go,” Cody admits.
And maybe to meet the show's host, cult film star and dancer Elizabeth Berkley? “She’s really tall and sweet,” he exclaims. “She was great.”
