Stephen Colbert's hit show, The Colbert Report, will hit airwaves again tonight. After a brief and sudden hiatus last week, the show will begin airing original episodes again.

Last week, a rep for Comedy Central told E! News, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show will air repeat episodes on Wednesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, Feb. 16."
Although Stephen hasn't directly commented on last week's emergency, many believe the suspended show was due to a family emergency with his 91-year-old mother. On Friday the host Tweeted, "My family and I would like to thank everyone who has offered their thoughts and prayers. We are grateful and touched by your concern."
