'Supernatural' Stars Jared Padalecki & Genevieve Cortese Are Expecting First Child!

Dean's going to be a daddy! Former Gilmore Girl star and current Supernatural actor Jared Padalecki announced today he and his wife are expecting a baby.

Jared married his fellow Supernatural co-star, Genevieve Cortese, back in February of 2010 and now they're expecting!

The dad-to-be took to his Twitter account to make the announcement himself.

"OK yall I'd rather you officially hear it from me.. So, yes. Genevieve is pregnant. We'll be welcoming a new member to our family in 2012," he Tweeted with a smiley face.

And Jared was surprised by all the support he received from fans.

"WOW! Thank all of you SO much for your kindness and congratulatory tweets!! As far as wanting to send us presents... (see next tweet)..." he wrote. "PLEASE PLEASE send gifts not to us, but to St. Jude's Children's Hospital! Lets make the world a brighter place for those not as fortunate."
