Susan Sarandon SPiNs Support for Haiti
Jan. 19 2010, Published 9:10 a.m. ET
Susan Sarandon will host a fundraiser as SPiN New York — a social ping pong club in the Gramercy section of NYC — on Wednesday evening. To support the cause of helping Haiti, all donations and a portion of the proceeds from the bar and silent auction will go to the Artists for Peace and Justice. There is a $20 suggested donation at the front door, and the event will include ping-pong along with fashion items and sports memorabilia at the auction.
Susan is co-hosting the event along with SPiN NYC founder Franck Raharinosy, Veronica Webb, Wyclef Jean, Josue Sejour, Selita Ebanks, Dylan Lauren, Franckie Diago, Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, fashion designer Rachel Roy, and 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander.
Modelinia is co-sponsoring the event with the ping pong club and has invited the top faces of fashion to battle it out in ping pong.
