Looks like Taylor Swift may have found a new man to write a wistful love song about — this time, one with Kennedy ties (which is about a million steps higher than John Mayer).

The socially conscious Taylor is a big fan of the Kennedy legend, even going so far as to say the only time she was starstruck was when she met Caroline and Ethel Kennedy.

"I got to spend the afternoon with Ethel a couple of weeks ago," Taylor said at the Ethel premiere in January. "She is one of my favorites, because you look back at the pictures of her and Bobby and they always look like they are having the most fun out of everybody.”

Meanwhile, one of Ethel and Bobby's daughters, Rory, said she is equally in awe of the singer.

"I'm a huge fan of hers. I have young girls and we had been to a few of her concerts. I met with her at one of them and she had read a ton of books about our family."

That being said, Taylor told Ellen DeGeneres when she appeared on her Fourth of July show that she doesn't have a boyfriend...not even a "kind of" boyfriend.
