Most couples in a new romance get to know each other via dinner dates and intimate conversation. But for Taylor Swift, there’s no better way to ingratiate yourself to a new boyfriend than by moving next door to his family.
Taylor, 22, was barely a month into her new relationship with Conor Kennedy, the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,when she bought a home in Hyannis Port, Mass., across the street from Kennedy matriarch Ethel. Now friends are worried that the Grammy-winning singer is going to scare off Conor with her stalkerish ways.
“His family, including his cousin Patrick Schwarzenegger, aunt Rory and grandmom Ethel, nudged him into taking Taylor on a date,” says a source close to Taylor. “But she’s coming on way too strong for Conor’s comfort level.”
It’s not as if there weren’t red flags for Conor. Earlier this year, Taylor eerily spoke of her fascination with America’s royal family, telling an interviewer, “The only time in my life I have ever been starstruck was meeting Caroline and Ethel Kennedy."

Plus, she brought up marriage before they even reached the two-month mark.
"She told Conor that she'd definitely change her last name from Swift to Kennedy if they tied the knot," says the source.
