She's fierce and oh-so-red. And by that we mean her new album, Red, is going to debut at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart today! In the first week of its release alone she sold 1.208 mllion copies -- yes, you read that right!

One site reports this is the biggest week for any album since 2002 when Eminem released The Eminem Show. That album sold 1.322 million units!
Plus, keep in mind Taylor's the only female artist to have two different albums make strides in the one million mark during their first weeks. In 2010 her album, Speak Now, sold 1.047 mllion copies.
Taylor boasts the second biggest sales week of any female artist of all time! As for who's in the first spot, that's none other than Britney Spears. In 2000, the X Factor judge sold 1.319 million copies with Oops!...I Did It Again.
