Taylor Swift Threatens Legal Action Over Alleged "Leaked" Photo

Oct. 31 2011, Published 11:41 a.m. ET
On the heels of the perverted online hacker who leaked nude photos of Scarlett Johanssen and Mila Kunis, among others, comes another headline from an unlikely source. Taylor Swift has become the eye of the storm for a tabloid website which posted an alleged topless photo of the entertainer.
TMZ reported that Taylor and her lawyers are on the case and threatening to sue the website for trademark infringement if the "leaked" photo isn't taken down pronto. Plus, they claim she was wrongly identified. The image apparently shows a topless woman who resembles Taylor with a headline, "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" Taylor's lawyers sent a letter to the Celeb Jihad site and asked them to immediately remove the photo and story. Essentially, the letter indicates the site included "false pornographic images and false 'news'" about their client. While her attorneys take care of business, the squeaky clean musician continues her North American tour, Speak Now. Plus, next Tuesday night she's in the running for five awards at the Country Music Association Awards. Go get 'em, Taylor!
