The hopeless romantic doesn't have great luck with men, as we know. And now that she's split from One Direction singer Harry Styles after a whirlwind relationship, details of their breakup are now being released.

It also may be an indication as to why her other romances have not worked out.

RadarOnline reports that although Taylor has dated a slew of men, including some of the hottest men in Hollywood, she is an innocent girl at heart and is not comfortable with what comes with being in an adult relationship.

"Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she's a wh*re because she dates around, that she doesn't put out," a friend close to the singer told the site.

"What she doesn't get is that the guys keep dumping her because she's being a prude."

Harry apparently found Taylor "sexually uninterested" and he got bored when she would always talk about antiques.

But with a young fan base and being so young herself, Taylor, 23, is within her right to take things as slowly as she wants to.

"Having a clean and wholesome reputation is super important to Taylor," the source added.

Taylor apparently tried really hard to make Harry happy but in the end their lifestyles and views on relationships were just too polar opposite.
