OK! Exclusive: The Little Couple's Bill and Jen Reveal If They'd Let The Duggars Babysit Will & Zoey
We've waited months for the return of The Little Couple and you've earned it, fans. Bill Klein, Dr. Jen Arnold and their two adorable toddlers Will & Zoey return tonight with season 7 on TLC. And unlike last season which followed Jen's cancer treatments, this year is slightly more uplifting as we'll watch them celebrate big birthdays and their first holiday season as a family of four. But let's not forget that unfortunately, Bill Klein's got a few medical issues of his own that he'll be dealing with, too!

In this exclusive interview with the Little Couple, Bill & Jen update us on their health, their kids, and what to expect from the new season. Plus, Bill explains why they don't invite cameras to their romantic date nights, why fans are not allowed to touch their children, and whether or not they think their network mates, the Duggars of 19 Kids And Counting, would make good babysitters! Read below:
OKMagazine.com: So Jen is luckily cancer-free now, but Bill, you're having a lot of back issues. Is that a lot of what we'll see this season?
Bill Klein: I think it's one of those things, yeah. You’ll see it throughout the season but I think for the most part the show focuses on our family. But there was this undertone of the fact that I needed surgery for my back problem. It was just getting worse.
OKMagazine.com: Minus the surgery, what are some fun things we'll see you all do this season?
Bill: Zoey has her third birthday.
Jen Arnold: That’s pretty fun! (laughs)
OKMagazine.com: Is it safari-themed like Will's party was?
Bill Klein: It is farm-themed. It’s a little out of the jungle and more back to the farm. Ponies and rabbits and a little piglet…cowboy boots. It's about the cutest stuff you could ever see. You can't script this on television.
OKMagazine.com: What about for your 40th birthday, Bill? Do anything special?
Jen: We did have a special birthday. His birthday was not long before surgery so we had a little….
Bill: I don't think you can say it! But let's just put it this way, they surprised me on camera for my 40th birthday. That’s about all I can say.

OKMagazine.com: Is it similar to what you did for your vow renewal in season 6?
Jen: It won’t be quite like that. I'm not nearly as sophisticated and good at surprises as Bill is (laughs).
Bill: Well let's just say that Jen’s surprise meant a lot to me, it meant more than just...it didn’t need to be as grandiose as a big vow renewal, it’s the people that were there that meant the world to me. She did a great job.
OKMagazine.com: Bill, will you be romantic this season like you were with the vow renewal?
Bill: Every day, that’s my life. (Laughs)

OKMagazine.com: Really?
Bill: No not really, I’m a guy (laughs). No, I think this year you won't see much in the way of super romantic stuff because frankly, we didn’t invite the cameras to film it. Date nights for us so far have been exclusive of the cameras. We’ve had a few without kids when we're both feeling well. It's been fantastic and it's been even better when you don’t have to worry about an entourage of cameras and lights and we’re just able to enjoy ourselves.
OKMagazine.com: It seems like you guys never fight and are always romantic though!
Bill: Of course we fight. We still stick to our mantra of we try not to go to bed angry and so far we've been successful. There was an argument during my recovery where if I wanted to leave the room I couldn’t. When we get into an argument, we try to settle it right then and there. Letting it fester is not good.

OKMagazine.com: Now that the kids are older, do they enjoy watching themselves on TV?
Jen: It’s pretty funny actually. Will and Zoey say 'momma, baba!' And then Will will point out, 'oh, there’s Zoey!' And Zoey will say, 'Will!' They like watching us on TV which is pretty funny.
OKMagazine.com: Do you ever have fans coming up to you asking to hold them? How do you respond to that?
Bill: Yeah, they try but we’re kind of like a china shop where nothing is for sale. When we go out in public people can see them and there's not much we can do about that but we’re overly protective like any parent is of their kids. People want to pick them up and think they're the most adorable things in the world and they are. They're the cutest kids, they're loving, they're engaging, they're fun to be around. They smile at you. It cries out for you to pick them up but I will slap your hand if you touch them (laughs).

OKMagazine.com: Any plans for another adoption?
Bill: So much pressure! You people are all asking us that!
OKMagazine.com: They’re just so cute, we want another!
Bill: (Laughs) I think we’re really happy with our circumstance but I mean, I wouldn’t say never. I would say that we're just so thrilled with the way things are. But of course Jen could always surprise me and take over the reins and tell me that we’re going to do something different (laughs).
OKMagazine.com: What do we think the chances are of a Little Couple/19 Kids & Counting crossover? Would you let the Duggars babysit Will and Zoey?
Bill: Um...how much are they going to pay me? That’s a treat, to watch my kids. I don’t pay them. They pay me.
