MTV is counting down the days until Robert Pattinson answers fan questions live on Friday and debut a new Water for Elephants clip. For Monday, they've dug up their first-ever Twilight interview and it's definitely worthy of watching again!

MTV interviewed Kristen and Rob in Portland, Oregon while they were on set filming Twilight before it had become the huge success that it is now.
So that means this was back when Rob and Kristen weren't as private about their personal lives!
"Kristen's the best actress of her generation, and that's why I wanted to do this movie. I don't know why she is, but she's better than everyone else," Rob explained before bursting out in laughter.
"You don't want me to talk about you?" Kristen added. "I think he's really handsome."

So what was it like kissing Rob back then?
"His teeth are pretty sharp," Kristen said laughing. "It's great. I like it."
"Every time, I just try to kill her," Rob said.
"And Bella likes it," Kristen added. "She's a total sadomasochist, if you think about it."
