Tiger Woods arrived in Augusta, Ga. yesterday to prepare for his return to golf at the Masters; however, neither the golf pro's wife Elin Nordegren or children accompanied him.
Elin and children Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel are not expected to cheer from the gallery when the tournament begins this week, E! Online reports.

Elin was spotted out in public late last week at another sporting event without her husband — the Sony Ericsson Tennis Open.
Tiger was reportedly joking with a fellow golfer and even greeted reporters as he headed to the practice tee to prepare for the prestigious golf tournament.
This is Tiger's first public golf outing since his cheating scandal broke around Thanksgiving.
The 34-year-old golf pro will hold a press conference today at 2 p.m. where he will answer questions from the media. This is the first time he will be addressing direct questions from reporters since the November car crash.
According to PopEater, The Masters won't be the only thing on Tiger's mind when he talks at his press conference this afternoon.
“
Reportedly, the golfer would like to renew his wedding vows with Elin after the tournament, a source told PopEater.
"Tiger knows this will be the most important event of his life. If he has any chance of winning back his fans, and more importantly sponsors, he has to play his best game ever. Then, to strike while the iron is hot, he plans on renewing his wedding vows and finally putting a period at the end of this horrid sentence in his life," the insider said.

As of now, it looks like Elin will not partake in any of the Masters fanfare or stand by her husband's side.
One things for sure — the army of security flanking Tiger at The Masters will be very tight.
There are armed guards with pictures of Tigers mistresses at Augusta, ABC news reports, attributing the British Daily Mail.
Tiger is even allowed security from other golfers if he wants, according to ABC News. He also has access to the ultra-exclusive champions locker room, separate from the main locker room.
Tiger will continue is vigorous practice schedule Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by a champions dinner with all of golf’s greats on Wednesday night.
