The Tiger Woods Scandal has hit the White House. What does President Obama think of Tiger returning to the Masters?
“I think that Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family, and that’s a personal issue that he’s gotta work out,” Obama said in an interview Wednesday with Fox News Channel’s Brett Baier.
Tiger announced this week that he will make his return to golf — after more than four months of seclusion to due the scandal surrounding his extramarital affairs — at the Masters golf tournament in three weeks.
“I hope they’ve worked it out,” Obama continues, commenting on the relationship between Tiger and wife Elin Nordegren. “I’m sure he’s still going to be a terrific golfer.”
Tiger made a public apology last month.
