As countless predictions surfaced that Tiger Woods would indeed be dropped from his multiple athletic sponsors, surprisingly only Gillette has stepped up to nix the pro golfer, involved in countless extramarital affairs, from their campaign, TMZ reports.
Gillette, specializing in grooming products, announced that they would slowly integrate Tiger Woods out of their commercials so that he has some much needed time to work out his private family problems according to TMZ.
Fortunately for Woods, his most coveted company hasn’t backed out just yet and is actually excited to have him back.
TMZ reports that Nike is in no rush to follow in Gillette’s footsteps and eliminate the athlete from their ads campaigns.
“Tiger has been part of Nike for more than a decade. He is the best golfer in the world and one of the greatest athletes of his era, “ a representative from Nike speaks to TMZ, “We look forward to his return to golf. He and his family have Nike's full support.”
