Tom Cruise thinks Manhattan is big enough for both he and Katie Holmes.

A source told Page Six Tom is sending out feelers to big time brokers and is looking for a brand new Big Apple abode to call home. He and Katie previously shared an East Village residency, but she's since moved on to a Chelsea location and Tom holes up in hotels whenever he visits the city.

"He’s looking for something that’s very private,” a source told the column. “Where he won’t have to deal with going through a lobby, and people outside all the time. He also wants to have a nice amount of space for Suri, with outdoor space. That could mean high-end luxury apartments, but he’s also looking at houses outside of the city or in gated communities.”

Now that Katie has been granted sole custody of Suri, the Mission Impossible star is, reportedly, very focused on being an "active parent" and having quality time with his daughter.

After an extended visit to Manhattan, Tom is back to work in London on the film All You Need is Kill.

 "He seems happy actually," a set insider told E! News. "He's been very professional and it looks like it's business as usual for him...He doesn't look like he's distressed from the split."
