How's this for social media in action? Last night while hosting the 2012 Emmy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel asked the audience to play a little stunt online.
With the agreement of Tracy Morgan, of course, Jimmy urged everyone in the audience and at home to tweet, "OMG Tracy Morgan just passed out on stage during the Emmys, turn on ABC."
The 30 Rock star got in the action -- and by that we mean the stage -- and hopped into the stage in a sparkly tuxedo. After sprawling out flat on the stage and continuing there while Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere presented the next category, the audience seemed to be in stitches.

As for one of the results? Viewers accepted the challenge which led to approximately 25,000 tweets as pointed out by The Hollywood Reporter! Jimmy himself got into the act as well and tweeted the same message he urged everyone to share.
